Earn Your BSN in 3 Years or Less with Generous Transfer Credit

At Herzing, you are a nursing student from the very first day you are accepted to the University.

Although the average length of time for a student taking a full course load is 32 months, the time you spend in the BSN program can be reduced based on transfer credit or prior learning experience. Students can transfer up to 90 total approved credits—more than half of those required to complete the degree!

As a Herzing BSN student you will benefit from:

  • Relevant curriculum
  • Clinical training experiences
  • High-fidelity simulation to enhance your learning opportunities
  • Academic resources and support to help you succeed
  • Experienced, accessible faculty

We integrate theoretical instruction with clinical experience in a variety of healthcare settings to provide you with a broad, holistic, and reality-based understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a professional nurse.

Is an MSN in your future?

Qualifying students may be eligible to get a “jumpstart” on earning a Herzing MSN by completing up to three graduate-level courses as part of their BSN, thereby saving time and money. After earning your BSN, continue your education pathway with Herzing Online's MSN program. We offer nine specializations in our program: Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator, Nursing Leadership and Administration, Public Health Nursing and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

You May Qualify for Our Online BSN Program

We now offer an online BSN program for Wisconsin residents. This program features asynchronous didactic (lecture) courses, meaning you can complete all general education and core nursing courses online on your own schedule.i

The online program includes practical, hands-on training via clinicals and intensives, which you must attend at a designated Herzing or partner site.

iThe online and on-campus programs have unique enrollment requirements.
