This program requires completion of a capstone project. Project activities are woven through the curriculum from the start of your coursework, and you will have the opportunity to complete project hours where you work. No separate clinical hours are required.
What Will I Learn in the Online DNE Program?
Courses in this program cover advanced skills for planning, delivering and evaluating nursing education programs in higher education and clinical settings. The program covers related skills like grant writing and includes content designed to equip you for effective instruction in virtual settings, including coursework about AI and teaching.
It culminates in a nursing project that shows the theories and skills you have learned throughout the program. Project work is built into your coursework from the start of the program. You can complete project practicum hours at your place of work or in another setting.
